I am once again stuck in email limbo for the evening, and everyone is out of office today meaning that I’m gonna have a really long Monday of finishing stuff 😭

Good news - RSS is fixed! Not live on prod yet...but that's because I'm redesigning the whole site and it'll take a bit. My goal for tomorrow is to finish getting the "shell" for the new site good to go and publish it along with one blog post.

Tomorrow I start my summer class....and I'm kinda dreading it. But, that means I expect my fediverse activity to go down a bit as I try and add that into my schedule while getting all my personal projects sorted.

On the bright side - I've got a blog post and website rework queued up (mostly). Just waiting for the troubleshooting with eleventy-plugin-rss to be solved and then I'll be off to the races.

Any #eleventy guys here have an idea as to why this would be happening with eleventy-plugin-rss? Following the exact code from the documentation, and running eleventy --serve or building the site in full, no feed.xml file is produced on my site. Any ideas where to even begin troubleshooting this? I've tried clearing the _site folder to start fresh, and no errors are being spit out?

For RSS subscribers to my site: my feed is going to show as offline for a bit. Switching to a new method of generating the feed and something broke... :(

I think I might DNF this Foundation sequel (at least for now...), I think I might just be sci-fi'ed out. I opened it up today to continue reading and my brain read 3 different fictional planet names and said "nope".

I might also just leave it on my table for another couple of weeks and start reading my next book, just to see if that helps at all. But...next book on my list is "Surely You're Joking, Mr. Feynman" - pretty interested in this read!

Mail is so weird. I have a package that went away from me, back towards me, and now says will be here tomorrow but is still 2 hours away. Let’s see if they actually hit their ETA…

Happy Friday all! No LetterboxdFriday for me this weekend because I’ve still got a movie to go to tonight.

I’ve been making some good progress on the #100MovieBucketList challenge I’ve been doing for almost 2 years now (see https://boxd.it/hZ8mK). I’ve got 55 movies left, but I knocked out 4 this week so far and I’m making good progress - I’ll be super excited to finish it!

Next watch I’m planning will either be Leon the Professional, or American History X. I’m also debating spending next week binging the 6 Disney/Pixar movies I’ve got left on there.
